As a web designer/developer I am responsible for the design, layout and coding of a website. I am involved with the technical and graphical aspects of a website; how the site works and how it looks. I can also be involved with the maintenance and update of an existing site. As a marketing consultant I study a company profile and operations to understand its marketing needs. Conduct marketing research to identify industry trends and commercial opportunities. Develop and implement a marketing strategy according to objectives and budget. Prepare detailed proposals and marketing plans. Advise on branding, positioning, communications and other marketing issues. Give direction to marketing efforts with the most effective methods and tools. Monitor marketing projects and analyze results. Write reports with suggestions for improvements and new ideas.
Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities. Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings. Approve and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer. Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages. Arrange for repairs when necessary. Remedy any problems or defects. Be fully in charge of managing and training kitchen staff. Oversee the work of subordinates. Estimate staff’s workload and compensations. Maintain inventory of restaurant and complete ordering of all kitchen items. Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
